Classic French 75
This version is made using Figges Marsh so adding sweetness to this well-balanced cocktail dating back to the First World War.
25ml Figges Marsh
25ml Lemon juice freshly made or shop bought
25ml sugar syrup
Champagne
In a shaker filled with ice, place all the above except the champagne and give it a good shake. pour into a champagne flute and top with champagne. Use a zest or a round ring from lemon to garnish.
Upscale French 75 (Italian 75)
25ml Graveney Gin
25ml Lemon juice freshly made or shop bought
25ml sugar syrup
20ml creme de framboise
Prosecco
In a shaker filled with ice, place all the above except the prosecco and give it a good shake. Pour into a champagne flute and top with Prosecco. Use a zest or a round ring from lemon to garnish.
English 75
25ml Grove Fever
25ml Lemon juice freshly made or shop bought
25ml earl grey sugar syrup
English sparkling rose
In a shaker filled with ice, place all the above except the sparkling rose and give it a good shake. Pour into a champagne flute and top with Sparkling Rose. Use a zest or a round ring from lemon to garnish or a raspberry.
